Course Description

Autistic burnout is increasingly recognised in both research and clinical practice. It is frequently misunderstood, misidentified, or conflated with depression, occupational burnout, or ADHD-related difficulties.

In this two-hour workshop, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Autistic Burnout and how to effectively recognise and support clients experiencing it.

This workshop is ideal for mental health and allied health professionals working with Autistic individuals across the lifespan. Autistic Burnout can profoundly impact both children and adults, and recognising and addressing it appropriately is crucial—especially given the heightened suicide risk among Autistic individuals.
