Course Description
CBT is highly effective, yet some clients present with deeply entrenched patterns that are not easily shifted through standard cognitive restructuring alone.
This training focuses on integrating Schema Therapy concepts into a CBT framework in a way that strengthens depth, flexibility, and clinical impact. The emphasis is on working with long-standing core beliefs and maladaptive schemas while maintaining the structure and clarity of CBT.
You will explore how schema work complements CBT, how to assess and conceptualise the 18 core schemas, and how to introduce schema-informed interventions within ongoing CBT sessions.
