This CPD training equips health professionals to assess and diagnose Autism in teens and adults, with a particular focus on internalised, subtle, and masked presentations that are commonly missed by traditional assessment approaches. Grounded in neurodiversity-affirming and evidence-based practice, the course supports clinicians to move beyond checklist-driven diagnosis and strengthen their clinical reasoning when working with clients whose presentations do not align with stereotypical autism profiles. Emphasis is placed on ethical, collaborative assessment processes and the integration of qualitative and quantitative data to support defensible diagnostic conclusions. The training provides 10 CPD hours and includes in-depth training in the MIGDAS-2, with demonstration videos. Participants will also receive training in the selection and interpretation of autism screening tools for adults, with guidance on how to contextualise results within broader clinical formulation.
