Neurodiversity Affirming Management Strategies

This is a mini workshop where I will be covering the basics of adapting your therapy to include affirming practice and management strategies for neurodivergent people.

Learning objectives:

- What is Neurodiversity Affirming practice and what are our ethical obligations as psychologists?

- Affirming ways of rethinking the diagnostic criteria

- Affirming therapeutic strategies for Autistic and ADHDer clients

-Autistic burnout: identification, prevention and management

This workshop is suitable for those who want an introduction to Neurosiversity Affirming Practice, but I've particularly designed it for those wanting practical skills that take you beyond just changing your language.

This workshop will run for 2 hours and participants will receive a certificate upon completion as well as access to the recording of the workshop following the event. You can count this as CPD towards your internship/ ongoing registration requirements.
