About the event

Understanding Masked Autism

A practical, affirming training for anyone who wants to understand autism more accurately

For decades, autism has been understood through the lens of externalised traits—often based on young, white, cis boys. But many Autistic people don’t fit those outdated stereotypes. They mask. They compensate. They learn to cope in ways that hide their distress. As a result, they are often missed—especially women, people of colour, gender diverse individuals, and those with higher IQ.

This webinar brings you up to speed with the most current understanding of autism, and helps you recognise what’s been long overlooked.

About the Webinar

This is not a diagnostic or therapy training. It’s a practical, affirming session designed to help you better recognise internalised or non-stereotypical presentations of autism—so you can better understand your clients, your students, your loved ones, or yourself.
